Circus Posterus & Stranger Factory present SWEET & SORROW - new works by Kathie Olivas
Stranger Factory art space is proud to present “Sweet & Sorrow” a solo exhibition of new works by international fine artist and toy designer, Kathie Olivas. The exhibition opens July 1st with a reception from 6-9pm, and exhibits thru July 31st.
Along with original artwork in both invigorating 2-D and glorious 3-D (a selection of which is montaged and posted here), there is a Stranger Factory Exclusive: KO Purple Greeter = in an edition of 30 pieces, each sized 4” x 9 3/4” with a price of US$170 per. There is also a Pink Masao (2010 Winter Sale) priced at US$250 and limited to only 5pcs.
This event comes shortly after their space-launch with the group art show "Modern Vintage Narrative", and sees a focus on the boss-lady's work, and is deservedly opened-mouthed awesome, IMHO.
