Trading Cards by SideKick @ San Diego Comic Con 2011
Trading card specialists SideKick Media will be roving exclusive trading cards at this year's San Diego Comic Con (www). As reported by NSU, "SideKick is using two pieces of art by American contemporary artist Ron English to make a series of eight cards" - featuring English’s “Superboy” and “Super Size Me” art.
The foil-stamped cards will be sold at US$3.50 for singles, or US$24.99 for the complete 8 cards packaged in blister-packs. Available via the Toy Tokyo booth #5437. "Both artist Ron English and Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) will be on-hand at the Toy Tokyo booth signing at various times throughout the show."
Also available are hot foil stamped cards for "free" giveaways at the DKE Toys booth - featuring Art Hustle Series 2 promo-cards. Limited to approx. 250 pieces of 4 different cards (two of which are previewed above) -look for them to be given out at various times through the four-day event.
