The Avengers: POP! Marvel Vinyls & Plush from Funko

In one of the more highly anticipated super-hero movies in a while, The Avengers from Marvel is undoubtably gaining speed with fans and collectors, least of all which the expected onslaught of action figures to come down the pipeline - is a done deal.

And out of these pop these products from Funko, which bridges the divide between mass market media-related toys and perhaps a tiny slice of 'art toy" aesthetics? I'm a recent convert to these 3.75" tall super-deformed figurines, so I'm good here!

Check out these movie-custome-accurate POP! Vinyls posted above of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and Nick Fury (am crossing my fingers for Black Widow, Hawkeye, maybe even Loki and the rumored Red Skull villain figurines - gotta have a set, right?) due to be released May 4th, 2012 (do check with your fave retailers for availability and pricing) …. not too wholly sure about the plush posted below tho - so I'll just post pics and leave it at that :p
