Product-Review: End of the World Calendar 2012
The END OF THE WORLD Calendar measures 11" x 15" and features a total of 12 x custom toys from customizers and artists, for each Month in the year 2012. Each of the imagery (featuring photoshopped imagery from Task One) embraces 'apocalypse' as the main theme (hence "End of the World", geddit? :p). Dark, moody and ultimately atmospheric, the images are simply put; "AWESOME".
The smooth stapled-publication features glossy with UV protective coating prints of the images alongside the calendar grid-dates - which is awesome if you intend to cutout and use the photos to frame-up (even more cool if you get the artists to sign on their ages *hint-hint*), but for the calendar dates, it might be a bit chore to write anything on the glossy-black space, but hey, if you need to be using this as as 'calendar' per se, then you need to be re-checking your priorities! LOL
Regardless of "practicality", as far as I am "selfishly-concerned", the only month I would be interested in, is in September -which features Rsin Art's custom on show (*cough-birthday-on-27th-cough*). The End of The World is priced at US$20 and available via www.wearenottoys.net - and you know what? A pretty swell way to keep track of time, methinks!
12 Months / 12 Custom Designer Toys / 12 Custom Designer Toy Artists / 12 Apocalyptic settings - Featuring: Ian Ziobrowski, DrilOne, TaskOne, Kevin Gosselin, Motorbot, Nerviswr3k, Leecifer, Chauskoskis, Rsin Art, Jay222 Toys, Spanky Stokes & J*Ryu.
(Thanks for the lurve, TaskOne!)
