MSN-reports: "Seven designers were given a chance by Nooka and Cutout Magazines to customise the iconic Nooka mascot in the recent 5+2 Nooka Toy Customization Crossover Project. These lucky individuals were Chin Thye, Jay Lim, Iya Yaya, Shin Wey, Mel Lee, Ida Anderberg and Khairun Najwa."

Check out more images via msn.goingout.com.my. We don't really see much customization of the Nooka-form as much in this age of DIY-toy-saturation, and it is always interesting to see works from an Asian perspective - in this case Malaysia!

This event was launched amidst their Nooka x Hello Kitty promotions during Valentines' Day @ Fahrenheit88 mall in Kuala Lumpur. There are as well other customs on display (which you can view here).
