CE Contest 2 Final Battle: Day Three

Congratulations to Solyar Dominica (read the words that come with the image above here on Facebook) and Satoshi Yoshioka for being the chosen winners on the CE CONTEST 2 Final Battle, in Bangkok, Thailand!




The two days leading up to the third day of exhibition and eventual judgement saw the teams upping their design-game, with the final day seeing a slew of products and imagery prepared for all to see, in their booth at Siam Center atrium.

Both Judges and the public had then gathered at every booth and was presented with each team's concept and design by the members themselves, via a microphone to everyone, in both Thai and in English. There were no particular translations either, as both the English-speaking judges (like yours truly) and Thai Judges each spoke and asked the members of the team questions about their concepts. And there even some "tension-fueled" presentations as well too!


And in the end - for me personally anyways - it was about clarity of intent and connection between the CE Toy, and the client's brand, that made the verdict much easier to decide, amongst a visually splendid presentation from everyone, IMHO!
