Panorama: Recent Art from Contemporary Asia - Exhibition @ Singapore Art Museum (April 20-Dec 25)

"Offering an unbiased and honest view on the state of today's society, Panorama involves 23 artists from eight countries expressing their views through painting, sculpting, drawing and media installations.

Held at Singapore Art Museum from 20th April to 25th December, the exhibition will showcase a compilation of works that discuss issues that range from general to specific."

As part of the event, there will also be an event titled; "Artists in Conversation: Painting in Singapore" - whereby artists Milenko Prvacki, Jeremy Sharma, Ian Woo and Om Mee Ai will be in attendance to "discuss their use of painting and other two-dimensional media, and why painting is still vital and relevant today." This discussion is the first in a series of programmes by artists whose works are in PANORAMA: Recent Art from Contemporary Asia, and is Free Admission, with Registration required (email nhb_sam_programs@nhb.gov.sg).
