American Depress by Ron English for Kidrobot Black

Looks like I'm late to the party. Received an email from Kidrobot moments before this post, which showed a teaser for Ron English's upcoming AMERICAN DEPRESS toy with Kidrobot Black, and a cursory online search lead to a myriad of coverage across the websphere for this happenstance (sorry folks, I do not regular read other websites, no joke), including this awesome imagery of Ron's artwork for a trapped Mickey Mouse (on Tomopop).


With a little brightening in photoshop, you could see the intended figurine features a bloated belly (no doubt an interpretation of the bloated-budget lol) - making this a social commentary-themed vinyl toy a "propaganda" piece indeed, along his earlier commentary-toy FAT TOY, and I like where this is going! Expect a month-end release of this figure.
