Nintendo Video Game Heroes of the 'Ukiyo' Period by Jed Henry

The post-titled is a rough translation for "浮世絵電玩英雄" by illustrator Jed Henry, and features Nintendo games like Megaman, Mario Kart, Link and Samaus interpreted in a traditional ancient Japanese-styled illustrations! And posted exclusively on his 'Ukio Nintendo' Facebook group is a sketch for Castlevania, and as well a WIP for Donkey Kong!



And yes, you have the exact same thoughts as I have: "Wouldn't it be great if they were prints?" - and they may well happen soon, as Jed mentioned on his blog:

"Many of you have asked about when prints will go on sale. I've got some great surprises planned, and It'll take a little funding to make it happen. So I'll launch a Kickstarter campaign Aug 1. I promise to keep the prints very affordable. High quality, for an easy price."
