WOODBEES by Lunabee (May 10 - 1st drop)

Lunabee has collaborated with Pepe Hiller (aka 'Smallstuff Pepe') in producing a series of beautiful hand carved wooden bees, named WOODBEES (whose name reminded me of Scritti Politti's Wood Beez - a fave of mine, so that's a real treat for the headtrip- sorry, that's hoe I roll ;p).

There are 10 bees in total, with the first 5 (shown here / L-R: Daisy, Totem, Noctus, Dolly and Harley) to be released this Thursday May 10th at 7pm London time via http://lunabee.co.uk, while the rest will be released May 17th at the same locale.


Out of the 10 bees released, there will be 9 smaller worker bees (approx 2.5 inches in length) and one large Queen bee (approx 3.5"). The worker bees will be up for $99 each and the Queen for $149. "(They) were created by Pepe in Switzerland and then shipped over to me in the UK to paint up in the Lunabee style." ~mentioned Sarah. Delightful bunch they are too!
