One of the more splendid and classier 'memes' online is the image from Studio Ghibli's MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO 1988 animation - the scene amidst the pouring rain where Totoro reveals himself to Satsuki and Mei, with a leaf upon his head, to shield the raindrops.
