The Road To STGCC: Promotional Hustle
And while I have previously posted about "Promotional Considerations" for my Booth F51 @ STGCC, here yet another recap of how "images" might make a difference in the promotional activities of an item for an event. Shown below is the entrance panel to the event hals where STGCC was held at Sands Expo Convention Center, and you can see images of the submitted products were used - along with their URL-address. As well even a work-in-progress image - specifically from Quiccs for his Yokazuna, was used! (Yokazuna has since sold out at the event itself!).
The same images were also utilized in the folded Program Guide given out free to attendees of the event. As well the same images and description were used on their online website @ www.singaporetgcc.com. The mileage in which these items had garnered, was to me, pretty impressive a spread!
And while this might not necessarily be the norm for events and conventions, specifically their promotional activities, it behooves the artist to have ready "images" ready to be used, be it a final product image, a WIP-image, or even a photoshopped-doctored image, to be available at the earliest possible timeline, if asked for, IMHO. Otherwise, I can't really "hustle" if there's nothing to be hustled in the first place, innit?
So do take into consideration next time requests are made, or at the very least you can archive them. And remember, printable hi-res images too!
