Joshua Artono for '12 Days of Xmas' (2012)
WHAT: With 12 days leading to Christmas Eve on December 24th (not counting the 21st, when it could be the "End of the World"), I asked 12 friends a series of 12 questions, and I received 12 different sets of answers which delighted me. I hope it delights you, dear readers! Joshua Artono of Plastic Culture / My New Obssession takes charge of the 8th Q&A in TOYSREVIL's "12 Days of Xmas (2012)"! Take it away, Josh!QTN#1: Describe how 2012 has been for you, in one word.
JOSHUA ARTONO: "Fatherhood" - this word pretty much sums up my 2012.
QTN#2: What is the one thing folks might not know you did in 2012.
JOSHUA ARTONO: Another part of me other than Plastic Culture is Brotherhood of Toys. As Brotherhood, we carry the name so much as we are not only fellow toy collectors, but we are BROTHERS (and sisters) that care for one another and the community around us. We just did our very first charity trip, super happy!
QTN#3: Describe to us yourself in three words.
JOSHUA ARTONO: TOYS - MUSIC - SPORTS
QTN#5: Share with us your most triumphant moment in 2012.
JOSHUA ARTONO: Not many people in toy world knows this, but I am heavily involved in music. Last June, we (Harvest Praise Music) released our newest album, called Next Level. At that same time as well, I get to sing with my all time favorite singer and band, Jeremy Camp and Hillsong.
QTN#6: Share with us your most embarrassing facepalm moment in 2012.
JOSHUA ARTONO: Not so much embarrassing, but more to stupidity! I almost lost my wedding ring in Japan airport. Better not to talk 'bout it, wifey might get mad LOL!
QTN#7: Which is your single most favorite non-toy-related website in 2012.
JOSHUA ARTONO: sports.yahoo.com/nba
QTN#8: Better to Tweet It, or Instagram It?
JOSHUA ARTONO: Instagram (... for now)
QTN#9: 'Star Wars or Star Trek'?
JOSHUA ARTONO: STAR WARS!!!!!!!
QTN#10: What is your most favorite toy or piece of art you've seen in 2012?
JOSHUA ARTONO: Wood Burger Bunny by Joe Ledbetter.
(Joshua's Joe Ledbetter Collection)
QTN#11: What should folks look out from you in 2013?
JOSHUA ARTONO: Workin' on something that is totally RAD in music (new album) and of course in the toy world.
QTN#12: What are you most looking forward to in 2013?
JOSHUA ARTONO: SAN DIEGO COMIC CON! If everything is good, I will be heading there.
