PIXIE WISP by Leecifer to Invade '5 Eyed Dragon 2" @ Dragatomi
Leecifer's "playing with fire" again! Now having his Honoo evolving into (or is it the other way around?) PIXIE WISP and will debut at the coming 5 Eyed Dragon 2 show @ Dragatomi launching this weekend, alongside DrilOne, Betso, Southerndrawl and Brent Nolasco. This is a debut release the sized 2.5" x 1.375" (not quite as tall as a Dunny) resin figure, numbering 20 x Wisps to be had at US$15 each. No let's learn a bit more about the creature, from it's own maker; Leecifer!
"This first Pixie Wisp sculpt, while not stated on the header, is named "Bunsen" as in "Bunsen Burner". They'll be specific colors and releases in the future, but this first release (w/ the teal colored Bunsen on the header) is a random smorgasbord of body and eyeball colors w/ some clear, some solid, perhaps even a few hand painted. Bunsen will also be joined by other Wisps in the future some being smaller, fatter, two headed, multi-eyed, and of different dispositions etc…" -added Leecifer.
"While his true origin is currently unclear, it's most likely that he's some sort of fire spirit (like the Honoo) or more likely a Will-o'-the-Wisp (ghost-light/spook-light). I have no idea what they eat or what sustains them, or why for no apparent reason, they will blink out or simple drift of on some seemingly random errand? The ones in the studio seem to gravitate towards clear empty glassware like bottles, jugs, and mason jars. They seem quite content to just hang out inside.
I'm just speculating, but I suspect they feel safe inside from liquids and strong wind and like the glass clear so they can see out? They must be happy with me and my studio because the place has become thick with them and they've begun to proliferate to the point that I'm now adopting them out just to get some peace.
I'm sure I'll figure more of this out as I get to spend more time with them." -shared Leecifer.
