Star Wars: The Force Awakens' REY & BB-8 in 1/6th scale from Hot Toys
Nearly a week before STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS drops on December 17th, no doubt the epic film of all geek-ages primed to explode our collective minds like Alderaan by The Death Star all these years ago (…or NOT, who knows? But I refuse to dwell in the negative when it comes to Star Wars :p) … and Hot Toys have been steadily releasing/announcing 1/6th-scaled figures from the film, comprising mostly of the First Order troopers and Kylo Ren … but NOW, one of the first non-military characters has been announced: REY & BB-8 as 1/6th-scaled collectible figures from Hot Toys!
REY stands 28cm tall, and features head-sculpted by Jong-hyuk, Park (Painted by JC. Hong / Head Art Directed by Kojun), while BB-8 measures approx 11cm tall (features Paint by Lok Ho / Art Directed by JC. Hong). Not too sure how I feel about the sculpt, but perhaps it is the sort of character figure you'd need to see the final production version in-hand to determine, so I'd rein in my commentary for now ~ *coy-innocent-smile*
