Keeping Boba Fett Alive In The Toy World: Boba K.Slave & Super Shogun Boba Fett ('Prototype' Version)
With all the excitement surrounding the 7th installment of Star Wars with (possibly non-"cloned") characters from "The Force Awakens", our favorite Mandalorian might be somewhat left out in the limbo of forgotten-cold-space, until his own stand-alone movie of course!
Meanwhile, the toyworld has not forgotten the one of the deadliest bounty hunters in the fictional galaxy - with this two slices of Boba Fett-themed toy releases announced here on the TOYSREVIL-blog, including a "homage" from Fools Paradise, and Super7's Super Shogun Boba Fett ('Prototype' Version) now available in Super7store.com and in their San Francisco store!
With the launch of the above sole teaser image, Hong Kong toy-brand Double Fools for Fools Paradise drops the release date for pre-orders of their "Boba K.Slave at Coin Rides Game #2" (previously teased here) beginning January 18th HKT. Stay tuned to TOYSREVIL for updates.
PRESS: "Super7 and Funko are proud to announce the third colorway of Boba Fett from the Super Shogun line. The 'Prototype' Edition is the most limited release prior to the 'Kenner' and 'Empire Strikes Back' edition at only 400 pieces. The 'Prototype' Edition is inspired by the original concept design of an all white bounty hunter by Ralph McQuarrie. This all new rad 24" Super Shogun is available now here for $200." (Source)
