Blackbook Toy Celebrates their 4th Anniversary with Customs by 4 Japanese Artists - Available at #TTF2016
BlackBook Toy celebrates their 4th Anniversary with inviting 4 x Japanese artists to customise one-off SKUM-kuns, and making them available at the coming Taipei Toy Festival 2016 (Oct 7-10)!
Featured above in the video slideshows I made are works from Knuckle of Little Chop Design (Creator of SKUM-kun), Chop of Monster Farm, Kenth Toy Works and Izumonster of Blood Guts Toys!
"We picked these guys up because they have not just mad skills, also have in depth knowledge about cultures including Skateboard, Hot Rod, Street art,Tattoo etc. They all have perfectly executed our SKUM-kun!! Their one-offs would be on display and sale at our TTF booth A33. Each one comes with New Era mini cap and SKUM-kun bandana." - shared Kaz of BBT.
In addition to the awesome SKUM-Kuns, Kenth Toy Works had also customised EVIL MC and A Clockwork Carrot as well! Check out the still images uploaded HERE on Facebook!
For both his EVIL MC and ACC customs, KTW had adopted the same theme of “暴走族 (Bosozoku)” - a Japanese bike gang motif, with each one named after Japanese traditional colors. A similar theme is used for his SKUM-kin customs! ALL of whom will be on show and on sale the BBT booth A33 at TTF!
"They got same 4words on the front of their uniform, 黒本玩具 (BlackBook Toy), 時計人参 (A Clockwork Carrot) and 四露死苦 (common phrase 暴走族 would say). Also on their back, they got kind funny 4words." - shared Kaz.
