For today’s #throwbacktoythursday, we take a closer look at a MINI DRAZORAN KAIJU from Max Toy Co!

Produced by Max Toy Co, this 4-inch tall, sofubi kaiju was sculpted by Yuichi Yamashita of Nakayoshi Toys (who also sculpted Kaiju Zanga), and is hand-casted in Japan by Shimizu-san. This “Mini Kaiju” is the adorable counterpart to the much larger 10.5-incheså tall “Kaiju Drazoran”. We don’t really see this figure produced these days, and he remains a “treasure” in my humble little collection, alongside his toy-brethren that was unleashed in STGCC 2012!
