Solano from “Old City Blues” by ThreeA Toys x Giannis Milonogiannis
Attendees at the recent US VENTURE show from ThreeA Toys @ Sparks Gallery (circa San Diego Comic Con 2017 period - July 20–23) were treated to the prototype figure of SOLANO in 1/12th scale from 3A’s collaboration with Giannis Milonogiannis, based on his comic creation “Old City Blues”!
And while folks might have seen Solano in color on his comicbook covers (the comic is in black+white / Available on comixology.com), this is the first time we get to see him as a three—dimensional figure! So would we be seeing further officers from the “New Athens Special Police” to be made toy too? Would really love to see the giant mechas being a toylife though! ... Or perhaps that why Solano is in 1/12th-scale? :)
