"LE M ON" by VTSS Toys
Imagine if you will, that the hitman/"Cleaner" "Leon" - *SPOILER* - had walked out of the building at the end of Luc Besson's 1994 "Léon: The Professional ", and reunited with "Matilda", escaped to live their lives together, him continue training her in being an assassin, and together the adventures they'll have together - all these to be in animated/cartoon form, instead of "live action" ... and THIS is what they might look like :)
"le m on" by VTSS Toys made their debut at the 2017 Being Toy Show (in September), I speculate folks were able to pre-order them on-site (hence the WIP production naps showcased below), while online sales are still pending. I'd suggest you stay tuned to Instagram @vtsstoys for updates!
Having produced original art toys in resin for a number of years, VTSS' recent foray into "pop culture appropriation" - specifically "movies"-themed releases (Remember their excellent "Kung Fu Hustle Party"?) - is an interesting addition to the hobby, which marry both the niche "vinyl toy"-sensibilities and a wider audience "caricature" character recognition, IMHO.
Meanwhile, here are more looks at Leon and Matilda in various stages of production - from 3D renders (above), to wax models to production line-WIPs, and I'll attempt to update status whenever they are revealed!
