Kidrobot Reimagines CARE BEARS for American Greetings - In Celebration of Care Bears 35th Anniversary
Are y'all ready for a new kinda "CARE BEAR STARE"? Kidrobot and American Greetings have collaborated in introducing and producing design interpretations of their "Care Bears" by a selection of prominent female artists from across the world in celebration of Care Bears 35th Anniversary.
Designs have since been released featuring the reimagining of Tara McPherson, Julie West and Linda Panda, with the fourth the latest design (featured above) courtesy of Kathie Olivas! (*Care Bear Cupcake Stare*!)
This pink version birthday bear is expected to be released in March 2018. Here's looking forward to the reveal of the other colorway, as all previous releases come in two color editions per Bear (one is always a Kidrobot.com exclusive)! "Tenderheart Bear" by Tara McPherson comes in two collectible colors, a blue color way and a limited edition KR-exclusive pink color way limited to 250 pieces world-wide. Stands 6.5 inch tall.
"Care Bears Funshine Bear" (KR-exclusive / Limited 250pcs) and "Care Bears Bedtime Bear", both designed by artist Julie West. Standing approximately 7 inches tall.
"Care Bears Polite Panda Bear" and "Care Bears Perfect Panda Bear" (KR-exclusive / limited to 200pcs) are both designed by Linda Panda. Standing approximately 7” tall and coming with an articulate head.
