Here is the artist behind the Grum Reapur, he is pretty much a one man band, but works with the help of many of his skilled friends. What you may not know is that he has a condition known as Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and part of his idea for the Grum Reapur was to challenge common misconceptions about those with mental health problems. Due to his condition he found it extremely hard working in the typical workplace due to the way mental health problems are handled badly. This compounded his depression to the point where he was self harming and suicidal. The years that followed consisted of thousands of hours worth of reading, studying, therapy, lectures, anthropology, philosophy, psychology, sociology and introspection to rewire, understand and overcome his condition. This was in order to help others overcome their own struggles. This is more than a hobby for Brad, he considers this the first step in his journey towards a creative career that will hopefully inspire as well as entertain. For all the support you've all shown, the likes, the comments, the follows, the shares, the customers, the blogs, shops, magazines and galleries wanting to help...just...WOW! We never saw this happening, you've all shown so much love for the Grum we felt we needed to give back a little more.
