"This is "Me Llamo Frida", a special project I took on for a collector inspired by both Frida Kahlo and Day of the Dead imagery. It's painted with acrylics, a little air brushing but mostly brush painting."
"The collector has a fondness for jewel tones and desert imagery, so I treated the base like a landscape and worked in imagery I noticed was representative of Frida's art practice and background; roses, marigolds, native cacti. And made her a little paintbrush accessory- I can't wait to see what she makes for herself!"
(Cheers for the share, Tasha!)
