90th Anniversary Mickey & Minnie Mouse by James Jean x Good Smile Company
To commemorate the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse, Good Smile Company presents statues based on the works of world renowned artist James Jean. The result is a pair of both Mickey and Minnie Mouse finished in a unique porcelain-esque paint job, seen in studio images featured here, and in the interview / featurette video (scroll down to watch).
I had seen images of these pieces earlier, but had not reacted until I found out there were from a collaboration with "James Jean", which garnered my attention, and interest to do a blogpost (*I am a sucker for "names" after all :p).

The first cycle of release has since been mentioned as "Sold Out", with the second release currently opened for pre-orders online via jamesjean.goodsmile.com, for a princely price of US$1,500.00! All sculpture set includes a certificate of authenticity signed and numbered by James Jean himself (edition of 500).
Also listed for pre-orders are "Blind Boxed Figure" Set(s), each priced at US$60.00.
