FLABSLAB X TZ presents : "The Rebel Saint" Iconic Symbol and Protector of Rebels and Thinkers

Launched Easter Friday and currently available to purchase online here is THE REBEL SAINT, priced at US$90 for this pre-painted sized 6.75" tall resin collectible.

The statue, christened as The Rebel Saint, is based on a sculpture (8ft, resin-polymarble) featured in the movie "Faeryville" (2015) as well as the indie film "e’Tzaintes" (2003). The iconic symbol and protector of rebels and thinkers. Gun in one hand and an open book in the other.

Created by Singapore Independent Filmmaker Tzang Merwyn Tong and current piece produced by FLABSLAB, "The Rebel Saint" [Liberty] is produced in collaboration with Rebels and Thinkers Inc. Scroll thru to get to know the film and original sculpture MORE!

PLOT: "Set in an alternate universe, in a college called Faeryville, a group of teenage misfits struggle to find themselves and make sense of their ‘teenhood’. They decide that there is no reason in trying to fit-in, and fashioned themselves as pranksters, calling themselves The Nobodies. Enter Laer, a new transfer student who joins The Nobodies, inspiring them to move from stink bombs to homemade bombs. Youthful idealism soon becomes an excuse for all-out anarchy." (Wiki)

The original 8 foot tall 'Mother Saint' aka 'Rebel Saint' Statue can be seen on: 0:33 and 0:35 mark and 1:59 mark (in video above), while the WIP images of the Mother Saint Statue featured below - as sculpted by Mr Chua Boon Kee, based on a original concept by Tzang Merwyn Tong - have never been released before.
