LITTLE VOYAGERS by Coarse x POPMART to debut at Shanghai Toy Show 2019

When toynews of these LITTLE VOYAGERS was introduced late last month, the first impression I had was "Yay! I can finally afford to own more Coarse toys!", for which I subsequently appreciated the impending existence of these days, because I feel they truly add to the toy-ecosystem, providing more folks with chances of collecting them, other than having deep-pockets, which to me is a sure way of putting a wall around the scene, IMHO.

On the same token, it allows more folks who might not have been in the community, to actively partake of said toy-community, and that frankly is what TOYSREVIL is about these days LOL


LITTLE VOYAGERS is a collaboration between Coarse and POPMART, whereby there are two editions: "Chapter 1" (Day) and "Chapter 2" (Night) mini series of 6 x figures each composing primarily animal-themed character-designs, and a cactus!

They will debut at the coming Shanghai Toy Show 2019 (April 12-14) in the following allocations:

CHAPTER 2: NIGHT

The first 1500 sets will be available from April 12th, each case of 6 priced at 534 RMB (approx. US$80 / SG$108), with individual blind box priced at 89 RMB (approx. US$13 / SG$18) - which is a bit pricer than their "usual" BBs ... Dare I expect online sales after STS2019? I do not see any reason not, IMHO. I eagerly await it arriving on Singapore's shores - You hear that, Action City???!! :)
