May the Troops be with You: APO Stormtroopers by twelveDot (#StarWarsDay)
UPDATED MAY 13/2019: Pre-orders for the last 10pcs will launch online here on May 14th (00:00 GMT+9), with each 5-inch tall (Resin helmet / ABS plastic ) priced at US$200.00.
Korea-based design studio "twelveDot" introduces "APO Stormtroopers"! Created for Star Wars Day exhibitions in Korea, which started off at the Jeonju International Film Festival (May 2-11, 2019), and are seen here in their display, flanking a chrome-"Captain Phasma" APO, and facing off a Jedi APO Frog & a BB8 (whom we first saw in 2016)!
Limited to 30 pieces worldwide, APO Stormtroopers (made of ABS plastic) stand 5 inches tall, and are protected by a custom-fit resin helmet & armed with a mighty slingshot.
Of the 30pcs, 10 of which has just been listed and SOLD OUT, while a second pre-order is planned for May 14th (00:00 GMT+9) on their website (With shipment expected in August).
In addition, they also plan to offer 5 pieces for sale at Five Points Festival 2019 (June 1-2) in New York, and 5 pieces for local sales in Korea, so take note and plan accordingly, folks!
