#playingwith: WITCH CAT LULU from Cat Magic Toys
Featured here today are in-hand snaps of (my first) WITCH CAT LULU sofubi from @catmagictoys (Thanks, Doug!), with this particular color way first unleashed at Winter Wonder Festival (circa Feb 2019), and current available online here for US$60 each!
The colors are as vibrant as you see here, even without any image / colour filters, with the metallic blue contrasting brilliantly against the rich red hue, brought to toy-life by the accented color details - including the rings, the cat's teeth and claws, although not wholly clean and crisp, but pretty impressive for a independent/self-made production release, I insist! All of which gives this figure a richer depth of a hand-painted collectible, than the many I have in my humble little collection, IMHO.
EDIT: And what is amazing was that this particular run were airbrushed and hand painted without metal masks! "The eyes were applied with the help of tape masks I made." ~ shared @Kaiju_Sommelier.
Sized 13cm/5.12in. tall, this soft vinyl figure is made in Japan and painted in America by @kaiju_sommelier, and comes bagged with header-card, with mine being numbered "2/24" FTW!
