Featured here are illustrations for Sunny and Cloudy Weather Shop's first ever BLIND BOX series, to debut at Beijing Toy Show 2019 (August 16-18)!
Themed with the "Celtic Zodiac", each blind box contains a Zodiac card. Also note that this particular series is not based on the "traditional" month-to-month, but rather a specific period-to-period. Out of the thirteen (drawn) designed SKOLLS here (Not your "traditional" month-to-month Zodiac), two are "chase": "CAT" (1/24) and "WOLF" (1/144). And if I am a "Skoll" myself, my birth month+day would make me a "SWAN"!
Look for them at Booth A08 in BTS! I am so looking forward to the actual figure reveals!
Produced by China-based 幸會潮玩 Xinghui Creations (who've collaborated with StickyMonsterLab in recent past releases), South Korean artist/toy-designer Eun Byeol Choi's "wolf girl who chases the sun and causes lightning"; SKOLL has been adapted into the multiple guises of the CELTIC ZODIAC, and if you remember my first interview in 2016; "The "Sunny & Cloudy Weather Shop" series takes imagery from Celtic mythology, fables, and animals as the motif and creates characters out of elements related to weather such as rain, temperature, humidity, and lightning."
