#Event: 2020 Taipei Toy Festival Announced (Oct 8-11/2020)
The 2020 Edition of Taipei Toy Festival has been announced, with the dates set from 8th of October to the 11th, to be held at Huashan Creative Park / Building East 2 & Building Center 4B (1F & 2F). Organized by @monstertaipei, this is the 17th Edition of the annual event.
Stay connected to the event's socials for updates, leading to the event itself. They have a pretty robust social presence, especially on Instagram and Facebook, so definitely worth paying attention to.
Along with the announcement is the main visual (seen above) for TTF, designed by Hiroto Okubo of INSTINCTOY.
"The main theme of this year's event is "hope" and "collision". Based on this theme and the request of the organizer to add other elements of "art", we wanted to create a picture that can be identified as INSTINCTOY at first sight. Therefore, we chose INSTINCTOY’s original characters as the motif and we tried to make the design "powerful" and "dynamic". Starting from this year, more and more jobs that require me to work in different fields keep coming in, and I feel a big change. Please look forward to the future development of INSTINCTOY." TOYSREVIL has covered the event online since 2007 (making it "15 years"), but have not once set foot into the venue, which I certainly hope to, one day before I end all this toy-blogging shenanigan ... keeping the toy-dream alive! LOL
