Five Points Festival 2020: COVID-19 UPDATE

The organisers for this year's Five Points Festival has since provided an update for the (previously scheduled) May 30-31st-event (to be held in the U.S.A.), to now be postponed til a currently unconfirmed later date in the year. This comes at the heels of multiple events being either cancelled or postponed curing this Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, and can only cross our collective fingers that this would be sorted within these few months, or continue forth to a much longer period... Regardless, STAY SAFE, EVERYONE! WHEREVER YOU MAY BE!

To our Five Points Fest family, Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. With the current public health crisis posed by COVID-19 it is becoming increasingly clear that we cannot hold Five Points Fest 2020 at the end of May as scheduled. We are currently working with The Brooklyn EXPO Center to reschedule the event at a later point in the year. We are hopeful that they will have a concrete date for us sometime in the next week. All tickets will be honored for either a postponed date in 2020 or Five Points Fest 2021. VIP Ticket Holders will still be receiving their 2020 toy regardless. We will be honoring all booth deposits, payments, and sign-ups for 2020 towards either the postponed date for Five Points Festival 2020, or Five Points Festival 2021. What I am keen to know, is if the annual Designer Toy Awards will still be happening in tandem with Five Fest at a later date? And if so, will the Voting Period be pushed forward as well? I reckon we will have a clearer idea once their discussions with The Brooklyn EXPO Center will come to a more tangible timeline.
