SMURFFACE by BustArt X STREAMS for July 25-Drop
@streamsart announces the global release of SMURFFACE designed by BustArt (IG @artofbust), after the first launching in K11 Art Mall Hong Kong (Check out some images at bottom of this blogpost).
"BustArt is a street artist best known for his colourful and complex graffiti that can be described as ‘Street Pop-Art’. His style is a mix of classic graffiti, pop art and comic. The comics used are those he used to enjoy when he was a little kid. He mixed the classic character with a throw up which is the term for a quick graffiti painting existing on bubble letters."The face of SMURFFACE is in the aesthetics of his "street pop-art", similarly shaped for the throw up and the head of the Smurf, and is formed from the word BUST, which stands for the name of the artist.
