"The distinctive gun-shaped head which is a trademark trait of the Gun Slave Unit, and the inner frame used for this product were designed carefully by CAD. The product comes with a coat made of actual cloth, and also the mini-sized cyborg "Lefty" which can be used to replicate many of the scenes from the anime series.
As a bonus feature, Juzo's trademark cigarette "Tanegashima" is included in sticker form. The sticker can be rolled up for Juzo to hold it in his hands in order to re-create the hard-boiled taste of the series."
I had been intrigued when @1000toys showcased the product, as I was unfamiliar with the anime, and have since tracked down and begun devouring said anime from NGL PROJECT, with animation by Madhouse, and am LOVING IT! So THANK YOU, 1000toys! I'll have a more in-depth(wish) feature on my I NOT OTAKU!-Hobby blog somewhen soon... Meanwhile, you too can watch it online for free via Muse Asia's youtube channel: Playlist for Season 1 (12 Eps / Completed) & Season 2 (Ongoing).
PLOT: "In the near future, many humans have become cyborgs called "Extended" (エックステンド, Ekkusutendo). However, with a great war having recently ended, many Extended, who are former soldiers, begin to resort to crime to survive. Juzo Inui is a "Resolver," an Extended mercenary who specializes in solving problems caused by other Extended. However, Juzo's life is turned upside down when a renegade Extended breaks into his office, pleading for him to protect a young boy named Tetsurō Arahabaki." (Wiki)
