WHAT PARTY by KAWS for Sept 1-Drop
Here's something we don't see everyday: Multiple colorways for KAWS character collectibles - beyond the "usual three" (Grey, Sepia and Black) - with a total of FIVE color ways to be had for incoming new figure: "WHAT PARTY"!
Looking like a down-trodden evolution of his CHUMS figure, availability is scheduled for Tuesday September 1st at noon (EDT) on kawsone.com! This vinyl collectible figure is sized 11.375 x 5.125 x 3.75 inches, with each priced at US$230 (I would assume excluding shipping). No specific quantity mentioned, nor of the ir a "Open Edition" or limited .... I guess we'll know when other sources (*cough-Medicom Toy-cough*) solicits them ... :p
"WHAT PARTY" was first seen as a life-sized sculpture in his show at Skarstedt in 2018, along with paintings.
UPDATED: The following images were posted on @jme7315, which I cannot confirm authenticity of, because quite frankly we've not (as far as my own eyeballs) seen such "direct-from-factory" shots, sssoooo buy at your own peril :p
