Custom Previews for Klav x Moyo (Opens Sept 25)
"Can't believe it's already the fall and everything is still so f**ked up. However, when some doors close, others open. Due to a good amount of retail stores closing in our town, my wife (Heather) and I decided to open an art gallery called Moyō Gallery." shared Kevin Derken (IG @klav9)! "We are opening with a mini solo show of my work (just in case something gets screwed up, no one besides me gets f**ked) consisting of over 25 new one-off custom toys and hand full of AP silkscreen prints with some Creeping Death Robot Club swag (tshirts, hats, and candles !?) Works included are from a wide variety of designers and producers including: Kaws, Ashley Wood, Be@rbrick, Quiccs, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore, Course, Ziqi, Kozik, Planet X, Kaiju One, Shoko, Uamou, Momoco, and Mark Nagata." The opening of Klav x Moyō will be this Friday September 25th, with an in-person event from 5-9pm and online sales will go live at 9 pm (nyc time) on themoyogallery.com. There will be no pre-sales or holds, everything is first come, first served.
Moyō Gallery is located in Fairfield, CT (50 miles and an hour train ride out of Manhattan). "We will only be allowing 5 people in the gallery at a time and masks are required to enter".
"The gallery's next few shows will focus a bit more on two dimensional works, but will circle back around to toys in the early spring of 2021."
