"RastaSha" by SlimSulit (New 1 off Release for Barnacles Shellbi Custom Show)
Ej Sulit @slimsulit shares with us his submission for the "Barnacles: The Shellbi Custom Show" event hosted by Art Toys Philippines happening this week, November 26 to 28 at the Art Toys Ph Facebook page.
Ej has mixed his own "YASHA" character with @theclaygough's "SHELLBI" character, with a Rastafarian-drenched result, which he had named "RastaSha". This acrylic on 5" Solid Cast Resin Figure will be made available at the show.
BACKSTORY: "Yasha was out and about, once again in search of a new place to hide. From nearby, he heard the sound of crashing waves, followed it, and was surprised to find a beautiful stretch of white sanded beach.
On this beach sat a lone man, drinking RED RED WINE. He had big long braided lumps of hair, almost covering his face. 'What a brilliant idea', Yasha thought, 'could he be hiding from the world too'?
He searched around and found this unique piece of shell - It has two holes, entangled in some thick black seaweed - and plopped it atop his head. He felt a JAMMIN' sensation. Oh, what a transformation!
Then suddenly, two heads popped out of the two holes from the shell, they seem to be thinking they were BUFFALO SOLDIERs, and exclaimed, 'GET UP, STAND UP, DON'T GIVE UP THE FIGHT!'
Yasha was surprised, but also amused. Happy to have found two new friends who likes hiding in shells as much as he loves hiding from the world."
