Wiki describes "Amabie (アマビエ)" as "a legendary Japanese mermaid or merman with 3 legs, who allegedly emerges from the sea and prophesies either an abundant harvest or an epidemic..."
The character had since been adopted to help against the corona-virus and to bless folks against health-ills. I first experienced this via my featured #AMABIECHALLENGE-post, and have subsequently seen 3-dimensional collectible toys made and manifested of this character (although I've not seen anyone trademark this character, apparently borne of the "late-Edo period in Japan").
Featuring character design by Javier Jiménez, with sculpt by Andrea Calleja - AMABIE is sized (approx) 3.1" tall, the Made-in-Spain resin figure comes hand-painted by Javier Jiménez and is each priced at €50.00 per, while the DIY Blank Version (unpainted) is €25.00 each.
