YeGawds the following release evokes the ORIGINAL-FAKE-release from 2009 (!!!) - with the announcement of "KAWS COMPANION KEYHOLDER" from Medicom Toy, to be released in tandem with "KAWS TOKYO FIRST" in a trio of colorways: Brown, Grey and Black!
Available as a "Ticket with KEYHOLDER COMPANION" in the color of your choice, price is ￥4,380 (for weekdays) and ￥4,680 (for weekends / approx. US$42 / SG$57). You are allowed only one colorway per "admission ticket", where a "goods voucher" (issued when you pay for ticket) allows you to collect said key holder figure at the goods shop, redeemable 'on the 3rd floor without booking for a designated date/time in advance.'
If this doesn't get the bootleg market started, I don't know what else will LOL - But seriously, the 2009-release featured FIVE colorways of the 2-inch tall figurine, which included two glow-in-the-dark editions, in BLUE and GREEN glow...
