ODYSSEY & ODDITIES by Daniel Yu with Muhammad Izdi (at Our Tampines Hub, Singapore)
Featured here are select images of "Odyssey & Oddities" = a series of 5 giant-scaled inflatables from Daniel Yu in collaboration with Muhammad Izdi! Curated by Chan + Hori Contemporary, these much, much larger than life inflatables are sized 10 metres tall, and are currently on show at "Our Tampines Hub", Singapore - launched on May 28th as part of "Tampines 3065 Festival" at Town Square, and will display thru June 12th, 2022. I'll attempt to bring y'all some more images, when I head there soon for a gawk-n-gander!
"We worked together to create environments that The Lunar Creep and his band of Space Explorers could explore and interact with. This included spacecraft, epic space deities and various cosmic flora and fauna! I’ve always been fascinated with space travel and exploration. The weird tales and cosmic fantastics that I grew up with still continue to inspire me today." (Features Bonus cameo by Fanny Kao).

Dude, the soundscape to "Picturing the Pandemic" (video below / listen in full on SoundCloud) feels PERFECT to trip along with "Odyssey & Oddities", IMHO...! All the more reason for a night-time visit!
