Are You "Ready For Love" with BLACKPINK X PUBG MOBILE?
And so BLACKPINK held it's first global virtual concert in-game in PUBG MOBILE (Premiered 7/22–7/24 / Replayed: 7/29–7/31), which led to the release of the "Ready For Love" MV (seen below), featuring virtual incarnations of the members of South Korean girl group BLACKPINK!
And while this is not DeepFake technology, I'm personally ok with the virtual likeness (or interpretation), otherwise the Uncanny Valley would be hella deep and long, methinks. Taking a step beyond the "avatar" incarnations of aespa's members, I would not be too surprised if the virtual LISA (perfect likeness tho), ROSE, JISOO and JENNIE appear again in future installments or releases... "August" virtual comeback too? And will there be other artists on the virtual-horizon-line eventually too?
"BLACKPINK" is familiar on TOYSREVIL (also on my music-blog TUNESTALKSG, so it is not a stretch to see this here, and similar to when SuperPlastic's Guggimon was payable on FORTNITE, the lines between everything we consume become blurred as the minutes go by, doesn't it?
With "online retail" already apart of folks' lives, I wonder when it'll be if or WHEN there'll be "in-game" ability to be able to snag "designer collectible toys", innit?
