Upcoming SPLATOYS Vinyl Toy Kickstarter
@splatoys is scheduled to launch a new Kickstarter starting October 20th, to bring to VINYL life their previous resin-made SPLATs, with the first release featuri ng the skin designs of @christopherluke.
WHAT IS A "SPLAT"? Splat is 3d platform for artists to share their original art. This release features Christopher Luke who created the LIFELINE design. This figure is made out of soft vinyl compared to our past polyresin figures which will be a great improvement in quality. Each figure is $30+ S/H and is approximately 4 inches horizontally and 2 inches vertically.
What does this piece represent?
"This piece is about being your own lifeline. Sometimes things get tough and it’s easy to get swallowed up in the chaos all around you, but with some inner strength and a little faith, we can guide ourselves through the worst of times and come out the other side stronger than ever. I’ve been looking inward lately but something about the vastness of space captures what that feels like to begin self-exploration. The spiraling black hole on top represents the unpredictable chaos we experience in life, the skeleton holding on to itself is a grounding reminder to bring awareness to ourselves and the situation, reminding us that we can be our own lifeline.
