#WHATSINTHEBOXSG: "Star Runner" & Movie Licensed 1/6 Fighter Figures
"WHAT'S IN THE BOX" is a new serial series where I take a look at my toy-boxes from decades back, more likely 1/6th-scale figure-boxes, some still with original contents inside, most used as vessels to hold other toys... Let's dive in, shall we?
According to Wikipedia, "Star Runner (å°å¹“éæč), (also known in the United States as The Kumite), is a 2003 Hong Kong action/romance film co-written and directed by Daniel Lee. It is rated PG-13 by the MPAA "for intense sequences of martial arts action violence"."
The feature stars Vanness Wu, Gordon Liu and actress Kim Hyun-Joo from South Korea (2021's Hellbound on Netflix)!
I have zero recollection of this feature, but I do remember Vaness Wu and even bought his 1/6th figure from this series too! But more on that in another WHATSINTHEBOX-feature, cheers.
