about sideshowtoys' reservoir dogs
so when SideShowToys announced that they've acquired the Quentin-Tarantino-"classic" Reservoir Dogs-license, first thing popped into mind: "how come no one ever got the Pulp Fiction-license?"
a 1/6th Vincent & Jules would rawk. a Butch would def take. hell, i'll even take a Marsellus Wallace and kitbash-up a Gimp meself (*snigger*). there's even Winston Wolf. and unlike RD, there's even a femme to consider: Mia Wallace.

but yes, back to Reservoir Dogs ... "Sideshow's license includes rights to create Vinyl Collectible Dolls, 12-inch figures, Premium Format figures, Dioramas, polystone Statues and Busts." - but of coz my main area of interest would be 12-inch / 1:6 figures (who would want a vinyl Mr.Orange, eh? :p) ... besides the 1/6-headsculpts of the principals, the only other thing to look forward to are the identical black-suits everyone wears, which i suppose is hella great for kitbashing (*heh*), as well as the accessories (tailoring and props are both main staples of SST's products, IMHO)
Palisades Toys had earlier released a series of 1/6th-Reservoir Dogs characters = Series 1: Mr.Brown, Mr.Blonde & Marvin Nash, Nice Guy Eddie and Series 2: Mr.Orange, Mr.Pink, Mr.White & Joe Cabot (which i have all of, except Cabot), which featured fab accessories and props (am still looking for a Marvin-Nash-chair), and even decent face-sculpts, but unfortunately is burdened with less-than-satisfactory articulated-bodies (which couldn't even stand on their own) and badly tailored-suits, IMHO ... so perhaps the new SST-series may be yet another chance for collectors who've missed it the first time round? (or even gave it a pass?) ... i reckon i'll wait for the product images myself :p
truth be told, i don't think i've ever completely finish watching the movie itself (it actually bored me to slumber :p)...
