customed 1/6 captain amercia(s) by greydeath and limitedtoysdesign
ever since Captain America donned his new duds (designed by Alex Ross), it has opened up new possibilities for 1/6th-customs, of which two are shown here:
and with an impending Captain Amercia-movie (directed by Nick Cassavetes) slated for 2009, 'ol Steve Rogers (or whomever dons the suit now) may still remain in the media limelight beyond Roger's death, maybe? ~ meanwhile /// CLICK HERE TO VIEW CUSTOMS
Thierry of Limited Toys Design shares with us his version of Cap utilizing a Hot Toys-body with added soft-resin for muscles, with the black suit in real fabric. the top with star is in blue simili leather and the shield was made without using a commercial base. the head, gloves and accessories are self-sculpted as well.
except for the rough-finish of the top-armor, tis commendable that it's self-sculpted, IMHO :)
since my first feature of Greydeath's customed 1/6-superheroes, his version of Cap has been "upgraded" with the new design [images via OSW] while retaining the exceptional form and "hero-style" recognizable from comicbooks = *super-sweet*
anybody else has any customed/kitbashed 1/6th Captain Americas you'd like to share? :)
