Dark Horizons [images via] has scored a few sneaked-peeks of the Two-Face action figure @ a restricted press event @ the NYTF'80 (hence the blurriness - for which i touched-up a tad in photoshop, 'natch :p) which shows a "less-flashy" version of Harvey Dent (as compared to Tommy-Lee Jone's earlier celluloid-version ... heh) with literally partial of his face burnt via acid-attack - photoshopping shows a more purple-looking burn (which of coz is not 100% accurate becoz of) and can only imagine half of the body is burnt as well (note the leftie-glove).
... i reckon the "glam" is left to the Joker, while Two-Face is set to terrify folks in a more "regular" wardrobe ensemble, which in itself would be pretty darn scary in the "real world", IMHO. kudos.
- above image includes my prior-p/sed-Harvey now with a pruple-tint [blogged] and a DC Direct 13-inch Two-Face figure for reference [blogged]
whereas the Heath Ledger / Joker action figure looks more "refined" here (than in my previous feature), included also is what seems to be an Animated Joker version as well? ... which i reckon captures more of the character of the Joker rather than the prior, IMHO. but of coz, a caricature of a caricature would more likely be more convincing in the end, wouldn't it?
