plus robots by devilrobots x tokidoki x play imaginative
Play Imaginative's collabo with Devilrobots and Tokidoki extends beyond their Trexi Plus series into vinyl-robots with their 8-incher PLUS ROBOTS duo of ASTRODEMONIO (by Tokidoki - proto-type last seen at PI@Galleria, July 2007) and EVIL KING (by Devilrobots) including 1-incher tall Pilots Captain Murder Jr and Shin K who accompanies their respective-robos (i've always lurved it when there's an mecha-operator)= whose proto-sculpts were peeped on PI's website, mirrored here for your viewing pleasure ;pi like my mecha/robots "chunky" and these certainly fits the aesthetic -bill, sporting a quasi-retro cartoon/manga-feel of yesterchildhood (at least for me) and the playfulness with the glimpses of color from the teaser, this'll be a pair i'll be looking forward to be seeing of more.
initially slated for a July-drop (which i hope we'll get a chance to at least see a colored-proto by STCC-period, yeh? muahahaha) - i wonder if there's a seat/opening to fit the 1-incher pilots in the robots - now that would be uber-cool, IMHO :) /// CLICK FOR MORE
Pilot Shin K is a genius since he was born. He made the robot in
just 3 days which is the Evil King. He loves Japan, so the robot has
2 Katana Blades. With Unknown mechanism, the robot's energy is
Beer. Shin K drinks beers himself when he is under danger in battle.
