standing head+shoulders above everyone else is the 16"-inches tall Devilrobots EVIROB and by gosh it is HUGE! the horn-span alone is majestic (at least in size LOL) and would come in it's trademark yellow/black/red-colors (but imagine the sheer customizing possibilities)
"in the deep dark forest, the most evil tribe of all exists..."
... there, i toldja toys-r-evil, didn't i? *HAH* :p
evolving from their earlier Trexi Plus Series 1, Devilrobots and Tokidoki are set to be mechanized, giant robots-style! with a heavy does of equal parts anime/manga and retro-kitsch comes EVIL KING (Devilrobots) and ASTRODEMONIO (Tokidoki)! shown here is Tokidoki's mecha proto-type:
"Pilot Captain Murder Jr, who makes sure that his Big Blue Robot ASTRODEMONIO
is always kept nice and shiny in their home in Italy. "Campioni del mondo".
"Champions of the World" says Pilot Captain Murder Jr"
dammit im lurving this loads! can't wait to see Devilrobot's Evil King too :)
HongKong represents with a long-overdue ULTRA KING proto from Ultraman [blogged] and Danny Chan's Spooky-Porcupine (which strangely looks very similar to Tony Shiau's Spikis, IMHO)
*all hail The King*
*i wonder what happened to Spooky Cat tho?* [blogged]
other upcoming toys are currently in graphic-form, shown on a wee booklet that PI gave out to folks during the exhibition = with projects from Bloo Empire's SPIRITS, Boredomsqueezer's BORING JUICE, Shin Tanaka's T-BOY and Yoyoko & Susuki's TIK KA:
*apologies for the digi-pics instead of scanned images (my scanner sucks rotten eggs now) - the colors shown here are not accurate to print - clearer images to come as soon as i get'em, i promise!*
Play Imaginative's coming out the gate roaring down the urban-vinyl-highway and with even more projects on the working table (which i've seen - and trust me, they rawk absolutely, they do)
