my hero, my legend online auction @ taipei toy festival 2008
MY HERO, MY LEGEND [www] is an toy charity initiative by Taiwan's Phalanx Studio whereby a 9-incher platform DIY figure (designed by Phalanx's own Mark Cheng) was given to a collective of folks ranging from artists, toy designers, urban fashion brands and media celebrities - to customize [PEEP] - with the final works on display at Phalanx Booth 49 & 50 @ the Taipei Toy Festival - where they will be auctioned off online, with the proceeds benefiting the victims of the Sichuan Earthquake.
The online auction started from July 10th and can be perused @ mkt.ruten.com.tw/hero/ [all pics via] - with a select few pieces up for bidding now. Customs shown above are from (l-r): 小鬼 (media) / 露天拍賣 / Wade Chiang of Revelator (fashion). Auction til July 20th, with TTF on-site auction on July 12th 7:30pm. (I need to have a closer look at Touma's custom tho).
