WHAT IS PLUSH IT?
Plush It! is an exhibit that showcases plush creations of more than 50 artists from all over the globe [www]. This is the first show of what will hopefully become an annual event. The premise is that a select group of artists are to put together a plush toy using a template provided as the basis. CLICK THRU for more event-info, as well as further peeks at customed-plushies :)

Rachel Coleman, owner and curator of Ruban Rat and Serena Kuhl plush designer. Serena has been in many plush events around the globe and for many years has wanted to highlight the amazing talent present in Australian and abroad in the plush designer toy scene. Both have wanted to put together a plush custom show, where plush artists, much like vinyl custom shows, interpret a toy shape in their own way.
WHY?
When Ruban Rat first opened its doors, Rachel concentrated on the vinyl toy movement. As much she loves vinyl toys, she wanted to represent the 'plush' side of the designer toy movement.
