T28 Test Animation Teaser by IMAGI Animation Studios
Further to their earlier teaser images for T28 (aka "Tetsujin-28" / blogged), IMAGI Animation Studios has launched a dedicated T28-microsite @ www.imagi.com.hk/t28/web/index.php ~ which features a test animation-teaser (shown above) as well as downloadable wallpapers and story synopsis! What is exceptional about this endeavour is not just the coolness of battling giant retro-robots (gawds but was I excited watching the teaser LOL), but also that the entire project is yet to be given an official "greenlight"! (Okay, who do we have to badger to make it happen???)
Creative Director of IMAGI; Felix Ip mentions that the Creative and Development Team (CNA) took around 8 months to create the animated world of T28 ~ now THAT'S dedication and passion for an unlit-project, IMHO! Personally, I can't wait to see further developments of the project!
